A conscentisation program was conducted on std 8 students of Govt V &HSS pirappancode on the topic Disaster Management and Mitigation.  The class were very useful for the students to get to know more about disaster and how to get protected from it.

Day 1 28 October 2024 Monday It was a fresh new day and I reached the school by 9.20am.  It was a busy day with lots of responsibility.  Today I took a new chapter from 8th standard.  The chapter is "The Sower" written by Victor Marie Hugo.   Today at first I gave a small introduction of the chapter Rosa Parks and I  was about to get a connection with the students.  In order to create a mental readiness I showed them the students some pictures of the farmers and their activities.  Group activity given was to write thediary entry of the farmer who was sowing. Day 2 29 October 2024 Tuesday  Today I conducted the achievement test for the class 8C.  Innovative work involves creating and implementing new ideas, methods or product to improve processes and achieve better outcomes.  I prepared an Illustration Book based on the chapter Rosa Parks Sat Still written by Rosa Parks.  I thoughtfully selected pictures that visually represent the key events and themes in the story.  The book is designed to capture pivotal moments in Rosa's Life. Rather than reading the chapter this book will enhance the readers curiosity and gin better  knowledge about the content.

Day 1 21 October 2024 Monday It was a fresh new day of the week and I reached the school by 9.15 am.  The day started with the prayer song.  It was my first period on 8C and my thirty fifth lesson template.  I was ready with my lesson templates and teaching aids.  Entry activity given was to enquire whether the students know about the boycott happened in India's freedom struggle and showed them some pictures regarding the topic.  Group activity given was to prepare an email to Rosa parks appreciating her about her bravery and courage.  A homework was also given.  Day 1 14 October 2024 Monday It was a fresh new day and I reached school by 9 10 am.  The day started with a prayer song by the school choir.  I entered the class with a pleasant face and greeted the students.  They greeted me back.  The chapter we were dealing with was Rosa Parks Sat Still written by Rosa Parks.  In order to create a mental readiness students were shown the picture of a bus from 1950s and ask students how they think people might have travelled during that time.  They responded and I gave reinforcements for their responds and then moved on to the chapter.  They were given meanings, asked scaffolding questions and they divided the whole class into groups and given an activity to prepare poster that captures the spirit of Rosa Parks.  Include quotes or symbols that represent her legacy.  They worked in groups and presented their works.  I edited where necessary and presented my version.  They were also given a h...

Day 1 07 October 2024 Monday I reached the school by 9 15 am.  It was a quite sunny day.  Mine was the last hour in 8C.  Today I conducted the Diagnostic Test from the first chapter of the Unit Seeds and Deeds.  I left the school by 4 15 pm. Day 2 08 October 2024 Tuesday I reached the school by 9 20am.  There was assembly during the first period .  Mine was the first period in 8C.  Day started with the prayer song by the school choir.  I was prepared to teach the new chapter Rosa Parks Sat Still by Rosa Parks.  Inorder to create a mental readiness I showed them the pictures of famous freedom fighters and ask them to identify those personalities.  Group activity given was to write the profile  of the author Rosa Parks.  I had substitution duties the whole day and left the school by 350 pm.  Day 1 30 September 2024 Monday I reached the school by 9 10 am.  The day was sunny and it started with a prayer song by the school choir. Mine was 1st hour in 8C..  After the assembly classes were taken.  Entry activity given was to do a role play according to the chapter.   Group activity given was to write an e-mail entry prepared by the boy in the chapter to his friend about the unexpected death of his sister.  We had our lunch at 12 55 pm and after the daily duties classes wind up ed at 3 45pm.
