Day 1
21 October 2024
Monday
It was a fresh new day of the week and I reached the school by 9.15 am. The day started with the prayer song. It was my first period on 8C and my thirty fifth lesson template. I was ready with my lesson templates and teaching aids. Entry activity given was to enquire whether the students know about the boycott happened in India's freedom struggle and showed them some pictures regarding the topic. Group activity given was to prepare an email to Rosa parks appreciating her about her bravery and courage. A homework was also given.
Day 2
22 October 2024
Tuesday
I reached the school b y 9 20 am. The day started with the prayer song. In order to create a mental readiness I showed them some pictures of movies related to freedom struggles and ask them to guess their name. Group activity given was to write a composition on the students view on racial discrimination.
Day 3
23 October 2024
Wednesday
It was a quite pleasant day. I reached school by9 15 am. I was ready with my teaching aids and it was my first period in 8C. Today I was about to teach the students how to write a letter through Advance Organizer Model. The class forwarded by comparing the difference between a letter and an e-mail. It was a quite interesting class and students cooperated well.
Day4
24 October 2024
Thursday
Today I reached the school by 9 15am. The first bell ranged at 9 25am and the day started with the prayer song by the school choir. It was my third period and today I was prepared to teach 'prefix' using Concept Attainment Model. I introduced the topic to them and clarified the aims and objectives of the class. The class progressed in the form of a game in which the learners were able to compare given set of examples and arrive at the hypothesis. Different set of examples were shown and students were very interested to answer to the questions.
Day 5
25 October 2024
Friday
I reached the school by 9 15am. It was a pleasant day and I had 7th period in 8C. Today I was about to teach "Exclamation Mark" , one among the punctuation mark through Direct Instruction Model. I began the class by asking about the punctuation mark. First I provided them with examples. After a short discussion I showed them the rules and give a set of answer on a chart. concluded the class by giving a gist of what they have learned. I give them a paragraph for workout exercises also.
A conscientization program was conducted by me for the students of std 9 on the theme "An Awareness on Disaster Management".
