  As a part of 1st semester B.Ed. we have to take microteaching lesson on classroom and have to record video. I got the Skill of Reinforcement.  

 Today we conducted our second assembly. The theme was based on the International day for elimination of violence against women. We began our program with a prayer. I myself did the anchoring. The pledge was administered by Adeena . Thought for the day was given by Anusree , the thought was " If we are to fight discrimination and injustice against women we must start from the home for if a woman cannot be safe in her own house then she cannot be expected to feel safe anywhere" . The new word was given by Parvathy, the word was 'Diatribe' meaning" a forceful and bitter verbal attack against someone or something" . The news updates headlines were read by Karthika N .Jusna presented a moral story. Aparna presented a speech on International day for elimination of violence against women , followed by a quizz session conducted by Reshma and Varsha . Book review was done by Muhsina.  Today's assembly was conducted by Commerce department. The theme of the assembly was demonetization and the name given was"Moneta" .Assembly began with a prayer song sung by Reshma and Subhana. The assembly was anchored by Nandu. The pledge was given by Kavya . News was presented by Subhana who gave the local, national and international news updates .The thought for the day was given by Sharafa . The new word was given by Nandu , the new word was "reprimand" . A placard was shown with the English and Malayalam meaning of the word and example of it's usage in a sentence. Subhana gave a speech on demonetization . The commerce department also published their department magazine. The assembly concluded with the national anthem.

 Today's morning assembly was conducted by natural science department. The whole assembly was anchored by Tahani who gave a brief description of each and every program being presented. We began our assembly with a melodious prayer song sung by Vishnupriya. The pledge was given by Amritha who missed the final sentences of the pledge due to over excitement. The news updates was given by Sasya who presented it and created a newsroom experience for us . Akshay gave the thought for the day in which he said that life is too short and that one must travel a lot to gain experience and add a new perspective to our views. The new word was given by Arya. The new word was stupendous meaning awesome. Next as a special program Bhagyasree came up with a moral story through which she enlightened us with a good message for our bright future. It was out third subject association activities.  We all prepared a magazine on the profile of authors from eight standard's textbook.  Mine was about Charles de Coster like wise every one written about one author and completed the activity.

Today was the second day of youth festival and 20 students of our college were assigned with volunteering duty .  We reached Kulathoor Higher secondary school at 9:00 am.  We were then divided into groups and were assigned at stage 7 along with Sasya, where extempore and recitation was conducted.  By 10:00 am we completed the registration process of the contestants and the competition begins at 10:00.  We were given refreshments at 11:30 am.  There were 45 participants in the UP level and it ended at 2:00 pm.  All the children performed well and give their best.  We had our lunch at 2:10 and went back to our duty.  The results of UP level competition was announced and we began the LP level competitions.  We left the school at 5:30 pm.  The program was wonderful and we got the chance to experience the life of a teacher ad we were addressed as teachers by everyone and we enjoyed a lot.

November 1 St is celebrated as Kerala Piravi to celebrate the birth of the state Kerala . People dress up in their traditional attires and various oraganise programs. Our college organised a celebration wherein we got dressed in our traditional attires. The program was inaugurated by Srmt. Shyla Basheer who won an agricultural award . She gave a speech on the importance of producing vegetables for one's own use and how to protect our environment. Then it was time for our cultural programs and we began it with a thiruvaathira. Second was a group song including many folk songs. Some of my friends presented the traditional "Vanji Paattu" which gave us a new experience. The program was concluded with a fusion dance by some of our friends. The whole program was wonderful and we enjoyed a lot.
