Assembly by English

 Today we conducted our second assembly. The theme was based on the International day for elimination of violence against women. We began our program with a prayer. I myself did the anchoring. The pledge was administered by Adeena . Thought for the day was given by Anusree , the thought was " If we are to fight discrimination and injustice against women we must start from the home for if a woman cannot be safe in her own house then she cannot be expected to feel safe anywhere" . The new word was given by Parvathy, the word was 'Diatribe' meaning" a forceful and bitter verbal attack against someone or something" . The news updates headlines were read by Karthika N .Jusna presented a moral story. Aparna presented a speech on International day for elimination of violence against women , followed by a quizz session conducted by Reshma and Varsha . Book review was done by Muhsina. Naseer sir gave the feedback on our assembly. The assembly was concluded with the national anthem.
