As a part of BEd. Curriculum our college organised a one day field trip to Mango meadows Agricultural Theme park, Kottayam.  We were accompanied by four of our teachers who extended their complete support and care to us and also made our journey rememberable.      We began our journey at 6:00 in the morning and had our breakfast at 8:00 in a restaurant named Aaramam.  After 4 hrs journey we reached our destination.  We were briefed on the facilities available and was provided with a guide who introduced different kinds of  trees and gave more information on activities and games.  There were vegetable gardens on different places and also had a fish feeding section.  There was a replica of the Eden garden with a sculpture of Adam and Eve and a wide range of trees.        Our guide took us to choir making and pottery section.  We got a chance to listen to a melodious flute performance by one of the staffs....

Today we conducted our second Subject Association Activity.  Today's activity were based on World Teachers' Day that was celebrated on October 5th.  Each one of us contributed articles, poems, write ups, essays etc.  I myself contributed a poem on Being a student teacher.  We compiled it and created a magazine which our mentor Veena mam published on behalf of the entire class.

Today the inauguration of the program Vayana Kalari was conducted in our college.  The representative of the Malayala Manorama newspaper and Bhima Jewellers were present.  The program was inaugurated by our principal Smt. Deepti Karunaakaran who spoke about the role of newspaper in our life and it's importance.  The program was funded by Bheema Jewelers.  This was an initiative to develop newspaper reading habits among students so that they could keep themselves updated on the happening in every sphere of life.  The newspaper coordinator briefed us on the importance of reading newspaper.  They also started the initiative to supply 10 newspaper on a free basis for our college.  Bhima Jewelers provided us with their brochure containing offers and schemes.  A lucky draw event was also conducted wherein five our our students and teacher were given discount coupons worth 500rps.  The program was concluded with a group photo session. ...
