Field Trip to Mango Meadows

As a part of BEd. Curriculum our college organised a one day field trip to Mango meadows Agricultural Theme park, Kottayam.  We were accompanied by four of our teachers who extended their complete support and care to us and also made our journey rememberable.  

   We began our journey at 6:00 in the morning and had our breakfast at 8:00 in a restaurant named Aaramam.  After 4 hrs journey we reached our destination.  We were briefed on the facilities available and was provided with a guide who introduced different kinds of  trees and gave more information on activities and games.  There were vegetable gardens on different places and also had a fish feeding section.  There was a replica of the Eden garden with a sculpture of Adam and Eve and a wide range of trees.  

     Our guide took us to choir making and pottery section.  We got a chance to listen to a melodious flute performance by one of the staffs.  We also saw sculptures depicting the union of nature and man.  After the introduction the guide left us asked us to explore the beauty of Mangi meadows by our own.  We went for a Kuttavanchi ride(bowl boat) and then went for cycling.  We had our lunch at 2:00pm and returned to fun activities.  We went for a pedal boating were Shilpa and anusree were controlling the pedals, me and Karthika accompanied them.  We were then called into the pool and had lots of fun there.  Wet clothes were changed and then we were provided with Tea and snacks.  We took oru group photo and thanked the staffs for a wonderful day and started our return journey.  Everyone8 was very active and the trip was a memorable one.  Were reached back college at 9:00 pm.
