Day 1

23 September 2024

Monday

I reached the school by 9.10am.  The day was very sunny and it was after a short gap, I was back to school.  The day started with the prayer song by the school choir.  I had first hour in 8 C.  I was ready with my lesson templates and teaching aids.  I entered the class with a pleasant face and greeted the students.  I prepared powerpoint and activity cards.  After completing the classroom formalities I talked informally to the students.  I decided to take the first chapter of Unit 3 "Seeds and Deeds".  The chapters name was Light On the Hills. For entry activity  I showed them the pictures of famous artists and ask them to identify the painting.  They identified correctly and I gave them an introduction about the chapter and author.  Group activity given was to write a short conversation between the brother and sister of the story.  Also they were given a homework.

Day 2

Tuesday

I reached the school by 9.10am.  The day was quite sunny and it started with the prayer song by the school choir. I was allotted the 1st period in 8C and it was my observation day.  I was ready with my lesson templates and teaching aids.  The chapter was The Light on the Hills by Lucy Clifford.  Inorder to create a mental readiness I asked the students to share their experiences of drawing pictures.  the group activity given was to write the diary entry of the boy.  The homework given was to write a short note about the topic 'Importance of work'.  The class was well maintained and I had good time management.

Day 3

25 September 2024

Wednesday

I reached the school by 9 20 am.  I went to the office to sign the register.  Their was assembly in the first hour.  The school choir sang the prayer song at 9.25 am.  I was given the first period in 8C.  The class was very pleasant and active.  Entry activity given was to share the adventures of adventures over any hills.  Group activity was to give a short description on the topic Beauty of Nature.  Their were substitution in many classes.  We had our lunch break at 12 30 pm.  I left the school by 3 45 pm.

Day 4

26 September 2024

Thursday

I reached the school by 9 10 am.  After the prayer song I had substitution in 9C.  Mine was 3rd period in 8C.  Inorder to create a mental readiness I showed the picture of a family and asked students about their family and siblings.  Group activity given was to write a letter to their sister or brother to motivate them in an upcoming painting competiton.  After completing our normal day duties I left the school by 3 45 pm.

Day 5

27 September 2024

Friday

I reached the school by 9 00 am.  The day started with the prayer song by the school choir.  Mine was 7th period in 8 C.  Students were exhausted but cooperated with me for taking the classes.  Entry activity given was to draw the picture of sunrise and asks the students to name it.  Group activity given was to prepare a placard on the importance of World Family Day.  After the classes I left the school by 4 15pm.
