Teaching Practice Phase 1 - Weekly Journal 1

Day 1

1 August 2024

Thursday 

Today was the first day of our teacher training.I reached the college at sharp 9:00 AM. I was assigned the fourth period in the class 8 C . As it was my first class I did an introduction session. I created a good rapport with the students and introduced them to the unit and chapter I will be teaching in the next class.

 Day 2

2 August 2024

Friday

Today Govt. VHSS Pirappancode celebrated its sports day . We reached the school at 8:45 AM and started helping with the preparations. The celebrations began with a march past conducted by NCC cadets and the four houses of the institution. The torch relay was done by the students who excelled in various events . The inauguration was done by the panchayat president. The events conducted includes relay race , running race , short put throw, kiddies for sub junior , junior and senior levels. The celebrations came to an end with the prize distribution.
