World AIDS Day

Today we celebrated World Aids Day in our college. We started our day with a balloon releasing ceremony.The college union made a cut out of the Aids day icon and attached it to a bouquet of balloons and our respected principal mrs Deepthi Karunakaran released it to mark the beginning of the celebrations. In the afternoon we had a slogan writing competition and the best two were selected. We were then shown a short film named "The Leftouts" by World Medical Council. Then we saw an animated awareness video on Reproductive health and HIV prevention. We concluded the programme with the pledge on World Aids Day and then with the national anthem.
