Day 5

Today was the last day of our 5 days School Induction Program.  We started our day with the prayer song by school choir. The first hour we observed the GOTEC class conducted by an external named Shaheera.  She took the whole session in English.  Second hour we went to lX B for class observation.  The class was interesting.  The teacher started the chapter Tolstoy Farm by Mahatma Gandhi.  Before textual lessons she first introduced many things.  She used blackboard, picked example from movies, made children think themselves and explain to others etc.  The teacher was very humourous so the children were attentive.  That was a good experience for us.  After that we took photographs with the principal.  Afternoon we served meals for the children.  Evening we distributed sweet to the staff of the school as a token of love.  They were very supportive and encouraging.  The principal Shiju Mam's involvement was crucial in this five day program.  She too was very supportive. The children were cooperative.  They respected us. We winded up our day with the National Anthem.  From this five days we have gathered many memories to keep in our mind forever.
